Group praises good planning

THE 87th annual general meeting of a town conservation body has been held.

During the event at Berkhamsted Town Hall, Katy Brookes-Duncan replaced Susan Johnson as chairman of Berkhamsted Citizens Association (BCA).

Jude Egan was was welcomed on-board as a new committee member.

There was also a discussion with the Royal Mail about the closure of Berkhamsted’s sorting office.

The group’s 2012 Environment Award for good architecture recognised New Manor Croft in Manor Street and Berkhamsted School’s Nash Harris Building.
