The Hospice of St Francis is inviting people to trek Vietnam to help raise money for the charity.

There will be a talk on what the 11-day trip will involve at the charity’s Spring Garden Lane base off Shootersway, Northchurch, at 6.45pm on Wednesday, March 13.

Participants will stay with Vietnamese families in their traditional stilted houses and travel between Vietnam’s bustling city centres and its hill tribe villages. They will also take part in projects to improve life in the country.

Trekkers are asked to pay to £300 register and raise at least £2,950 in sponsorship for the hospice from the trip, which is scheduled for April 2014. To learn more, contact hospice fundraiser Fran Martin on 01442 869555 or fran.martin@stfrancis.org.uk
