There was plenty of fun in the sun at the Hobletts Manor School summer fair.
The summer bonanza was a joint venture between the junior and infants schools and the final amount raised is still being totted up.
The fair featured a variety of stalls and games including a toy tombola, lucky dip, coconut shy, bouncy castle and fairground rides.
The children also got a chance to showcase their skills during the Hobletts’ Got Talent competition – with singing and dancing proving to be the most popular routines among the youngsters.
A number of pupils also proved that they were the top of the chops in a well-drilled karate display.
Hobletts Manor Infants and Nursery School headteacher Wendy Hull said: “We were really lucky with the weather because it was sunny and warm, which is exactly what you want for a summer fair!
“Lots of children showcased their talents – especially singing and dancing – and one of the most popular games was throwing wet sponges at Mr Brown in the stocks!”
