Footbridge’s £65k repairs
A footbridge is being repaired at a cost of £65,000.
Dacoum Borough Council will fit replacement timbers and new handrails to the Canal Fields footbridge in Berkhamsted to help keep it safe.
Work will begin on Monday, March 5, and take about five weeks. The bridge will be closed to the public in that time.

Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 06:54 PMI was going to suggest you might like to try and do it for less, but I'm sure you have better things to do. At least it's something that really needs doing. Now the bollards and painting walkway in the adjacent car park together with fairly initial ineffective repairs to the drainage system were another matter.
