Fair fundraising fun

Yongsters enjoyed face painting and games at a fundraising fair on Saturday.

The Junior Church at All Saints Berkhamsted lived up to its chosen charity's name when it welcomed a crowd of friends and supporters to its Karibuni Fair on the weekend- Karibuni means welcome and the Trust supports street children in Kenya.

The lively event included a tombola, home made cakes and competitions. Visitors also enjoyed Fairtrade tea and coffee.

Among the visitors were Freda and Leslie Driver who have spent time in Kenya helping with Karibuni Trust projects and more than 260 was raised to support the work.

Earlier in the day a coffee morning for Action for Children raised almost 100.
