Estate agents in abseil challenge
Taylors abseil team. From left to right: Andrew Piper, Kelly Allen-Darkes, Elly Moran, Jake Forrest, John Cyganek.
They sell and rent properties every day – but never before have they abseiled down the side of one.
Estate agent Elly Moran, 21, is afraid of heights, but her boss Kelly Allen-Darkes, 26, is making her abseil down the 100ft Dixons Retail building in Maylands, Hemel Hempstead.
Kelly said: “I did not really give her a choice to take part, really. I told her I was doing it and she needed to do it.”
Elly says she is ‘terrified’. The pair will be joined by three of their colleagues from Taylors Estate Agents in Marlowes, Hemel Hempstead, for the fundraising challenge on Sunday, March 24.
Kelly has also recruited 22 more Taylors staff from elsewhere in the UK to take part in the one-day event in aid The Hospice of St Francis.
Sponsor them at www.justgiving.co.uk/taylorshemel and learn more or sign up for the challenge at www.stfrancis.org.uk or by phoning 01442 869555.
