Runners will soon descend on Dacorum for a gruelling and hill-ridden challenge.

They will be taking part in the 31st annual Berkhamsted Half Marathon and five-mile ‘Fun Run’ on Sunday, March 3.

The races are organised by the Rotary Club of Berkhamsted Bulbourne and raise about £20,000 each year for charities based in and around the town.

There will be a £100 prize for the half-marathon winner and a trophy for the fastest team in the half-marathon and fastest school in the fun run.

The longer race is due to begin at 10am and the shorter one at 10.30am.
