England face Uruguay in their crucial second World Cup group match tonight and they do so with the full backing of the ants at a Hertfordshire wildlife centre.
Butterfly World felt Roy Hodgson’s men needed a bit of extra support from its leaf cutter ants!
So patriotic staff at the sanctuary created real 4mm x 5mm St George’s flags made of English red and white rose petals, the leaf cutter ants’ absolute favourite food.
This amazing picture was then taken using a macro lense showing the ants carrying the flags to make for this most brilliant and bizarre World Cup related picture.
England ANTicipates a much needed win, so let’s up the ANTe against Uruguay!
