SCHOOLS will go head-to-head in a test of design and building skills.
Teams of students from 10 schools across Dacorum will take part in the Rotary Club’s Technology Tournament.
The challenge, which will be held at Ashlyns School in Berkhamsted next Thursday, involves teams of four working to solve a design and build problem.
They will have to come up with possible solutions before constructing a model from the materials supplied.
A team of judges, including an engineering expert, will decide the winners in each age category.
Teams will be presented with a shield and each winning student will receive a £20 book token.
The event is sponsored by Kings Langley renewable energy firm RES.
