It was the best-ever fundraising year at this school and £4,500 was taken in by its organisers.
The Splat-a-Teacher board was one of the main highlights, and even headteacher Dolores Bennett stepped forward for a soaking during the event on Saturday.
Becky Plenderleith, from the school’s parent teacher association, said: “The takings reflect how much the families at Westfield value their school and its teachers. We had a great turn out from staff and pupils, and the Splat-a-Teacher stall was a roaring success, with all the staff taking a splash.”
Another was at St Mary’s Church in Northchurch.
