MORE than half of sixth form students at Astley Cooper School are going to university following an above average set of results.
Among the star performers was Laurence Chan who got two A stars and three As and will be going to Cambridge to study economics.
“I only got four hours sleep last night – I’m stressed,” he said. “It was just putting in the time. My dad often tells me to take a break.”
Head of sixth form Lucy Grayson said: “We’re very pleased with the results this year. I think we’re in line with last year if not slightly above.”
