Did you see a UFO over Northchurch?

A Northchurch family was puzzled as to the cause of lights in the sky this morning (Thursday, June 3).

The Whitaker family, of Covert Road, was out in the garden at about 11.45am when Andrew, 12, and Emma, 10, saw glinting in the sky.

Dad Mike said: 'It just looked like a metallic object glinting in the sun. Andrew called the airport but was told to call the MoD and it's a case of everybody saying ring someone else.'

So in a bid to find out what it was, the family have called on berkhamstedtoday to see if anyone knows.

If you saw the object, or know what it was, email The Gazette on editorial@hemelgazette.co.uk
