A TRIAL date has been set for the man who ran a brothel on a quiet suburban street.

Janus Orsos, 25, is accused of helping to manage two brothels in Hillingdon, London, and Berkhamsted between December 1, 2009, and March 24, 2011.

He appeared before St Albans Magistrates Court today for a committal hearing.

Orsos said he now lives in Poplar, London. His address was previously listed as Charles Street, Berkhamsted.

The Gazette reported at the time that his neighbours in Charles Street were shocked to discover the home was being used for prostitution after a police raid on Thursay, March 24, 2011.

Orsos is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on Monday, April 23.
