Dacorum gets green gong for eco efforts

Dacorum has received a top standard for its efforts in reducing its impact on the environment.

The ISO 14001 accolade recognises that Dacorum Borough Council has systems in place to reduce its impact on the environment.

Under its green effort, the council recycles 100 per cent of its paper, promotes car shares and cycling to work and has doubled office recycling facilites, while reducing waste bins by half.
