Crowds turn out in Boxmoor for Remembrance Sunday

The families of fallen Hemel Hempstead heroes Senior Aircraftman Ryan Tomlin, 21, and Marine Matthew Harrison, 23, were among those to pay their respects during a Remembrance service at the Boxmoor cenotaph.

Representatives from RAF Halton and the Royal British Legion were joined by local dignitaries including Dacorum Mayor Penny Hearn and Hemel Hempstead MP Mike Penning at the bandstand on Sunday before they marched down to the war memorial in Boxmoor.

Wreaths were laid and a service was held inside St John’s Church.
