THE father of murdered Billy Dove says that having a memorial service on his son’s birthday will be a lovely way to say goodbye.

Paul Dove, from Hemel Hempstead, said that everyone who knew Billy is welcome to the celebration of his life at St Albans Cathedral on Thursday, February 9 at 2pm.

The service will mark what would have been Billy’s 22nd birthday and will be attended by teachers from his former schools, Two Waters Primary School and Kings Langley Secondary School.

The secondary school’s choir, which includes Billy’s cousin 12-year-old Devon Masson, will sing hymns and Billy’s friend Marco Musto will perform a song he wrote about Billy’s death.
