Teenagers from Astley Cooper School were taught about the dangers of driving by firefighters on Monday.

A group of 17 and 18-year-olds from the Grovehill school spent a day with crews at Hemel Hempstead fire station learning about drink driving, speeding and collisions.

The students were also shown the work firefighters carry out at the scene of accidents, including cutting casualties from cars.
