Costbusting toilet cleaners

Staff and volunteers were rewarded for saving a charity more than £1,000 a year - by keeping the toilets clean.

Deborah Timberlake, Margaret Johnson and Michelle Remice, workers in the Iain Rennie Hospice at Home shop in Tring High Street were awarded Costbusting badges by the organisation's chief executive Robert Breakwell.

They reduced the shop's service charge by around 100 a year by cleaning the toilets themselves.
