Dacorum’s dedicated homelessness charity DENS is asking supporters to get their walking boots on to help fund its work in the community.

The DENS 10-mile Sponsored Walk is being held on Saturday, May 17 and places are still available.

The route covers scenic footpaths along a stretch of the Grand Union Canal, through the historic village of Aldbury and around the beech and oak woodlands of Ashridge, finishing at Berkhamsted School.

DENS marketing and fundraising manager Anna Rackett said: “Get fit, enjoy the fresh air, and ramble along the paths and tracks in local Hertfordshire countryside – it’s going to be a great day out.”

To register, call DENS on 01442 800268, email fundraising@dens.org.uk or visit dens.org.uk for more information and sponsorship forms.
