A volunteer-run television station is appealing for more people in Dacorum to view its feel-good videos promoting positive aspects of the borough.

Dee TV’s films are created by Lindy Foster Weinreb and her daughter Mischke, both of Berkhamsted.

Lindy believes more people should be watching the online station’s upbeat videos, especially after Hemel Hempstead’s recent accolade as the UK’s ugliest town in an online poll.

She said: “At the moment we average about 10,000 views a month, but there are 140,000 people in Dacorum.

“It would be lovely to have more people watching us and getting those people to think more positively about where they live.

“Dacorum is a vibrant and stunning area to live and work and we want to promote that.”

In order to help fund its community work the team at Dee TV are encouraging people to use them for corporate films including promotional and wedding videos.
