A straw fire at a Langleybury barn needed five fire crews to work throughout the night to contain it.

The blaze at the 15m x 8m structure in Home Farm started around 3pm yesterday afternoon and was still being managed by two pumps this morning.

Police assistance was required to control traffic around the site, while the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church in Hemel Hempstead provided food and drink for the firefighters.
