A job club is being launched by a debt charity in a bid to help some of Dacorum’s 1,910 unemployed people back into work.

Christians Against Poverty is launching its Job Club on Tuesday, November 5. It will be provided alongside other services already on offer from the charity. These include money courses and drop-in services as well as the Foodbank distribution centre, which all work out of The Base, Haven House, London Road in Hemel Hempstead.

The Job Club coach will be Dave Bowles, who is a member of New Church Hemel in Gadebridge and Owen Cooper from Christians Against Poverty will work alongside him as a coach. Help will also be provided by volunteers from churches.
