A distinctive clock stolen in a Berkhamsted house burglary could be the key to finding the culprits.

The home on Acacia Grove was broken into by crooks who smashed a glass panel on a side door between September 19 and 23.

Jewellery including white gold twisty drop earrings, a choker style pendant with an aqua marine stone, a man’s and a woman’s gold wedding band, a Macbook Pro and jewellery boxes were also swiped.

Det Con Archi Bagworth, investigating, said: “This is a distinctive clock and I would appeal to anyone who may know of its whereabouts now to contact police.

“The one stolen had a wider and shallower base than the one pictured. The green parts of the clock are malachite and the main material is black marble.”

If you have seen or are approached to buy this kind of clock call police on 101 with the crime reference D2/13/708.
