An epileptic cat that had been missing for more than a week has been reunited with its owner thanks to the Gazette’s website.

Cat owner Jan Goodair was alerted to an article posted on www.hemeltoday.co.uk about a lost cat that had taken shelter in a Hemel Hempstead garden shed.

Now reunited with her pet called Pimms, Jan said: “I was very anxious when she disappeared.”

The five year old feline had only recently been diagnosed with epilepsy, which means she needs medication twice a day.

Jan was put in touch with Joyce Read, of Botley Road, Woodhall Farm, who had contacted the Gazette in a bid to reunited the black and white cat with its owner.

“I found her looking really quite sorry for herself in the shed,” said Jan, who has two other cats, named Bailey and Malibu.

Pimms has since been checked over by a vet and is now back at home.
