Car hits 14-year-old boy

A 14-year-old boy was hit by a car just after leaving Hemel Hempstead’s Cavendish School on Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called to the roundabout between Warners End Road, Queensway and Leighton Buzzard Road just after 3.30pm, where paramedics were treating him for minor injuries.

Police spokesman Sarah Spence said: “We are making some enquiries about the vehicle as we try to trace its owner.”
