People are needed to help guide householders through the digital television switchover.

Volunteers will man an advice point in Hemel Hempstead where there will be leaflets on the switchover and a television will be set up to demonstrate the retuning process.

Full training will be provided on Monday, March 26 from 9am to 3pm in Hatfield.

> A cheery van driver is needed to work as part of a team transporting goods and helping to load and unload furniture and household items.

Your time will be required from 7.30am to 10.30am.

This opportunity will help keep you fit while helping others through the good cause Dacorum Emergency Night Shelter (DENS).

The right person will be aged between 25 and 70, friendly and cheery, able to work as part of a team, and a safe driver.

> Get some experience in retail by helping out as a market stall worker with DENS.

Duties will include displaying stock attractively, interacting with customers, unloading and reloading the van, working within a team and maintaining a sales record. Experience in retail would be useful but not necessary.

> Sport shop assistants are needed as part of a dynamic and diverse team of volunteers for the Watford Football Club Community Sports and Education Trust.

Work will include sorting stock, preparing items for sale, helping customers, selling goods and keeping the shop tidy.

Hours will be agreed to suit the time you have available.

The trust focuses on six themes - sports participation, social inclusion, health, education and community facilities. Helpers should be aged 16 or over.
