A PRE-SCHOOL that looks after little ones aged two to four-years-old has several volunteer vacancies.

Aycliffe Drive Pre-School, a non-profit making Hemel Hempstead group, is seeking someone with the time and commitment to help raise funds.

The right person for the role of fundraiser will have lots of ideas on ways to help raise money and will need to attend five annual meetings at the school during the year. These will take place between 3.30pm and 5.30pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays during term time.

The group is also looking for a home-based secretary to help out on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The volunteer, who must have their own computer and word processing skills, will also need to attend five annual meetings at the school between 3.30pm and 5.30pm during term time.

They will be asked to take minutes, type them up and distribute them.

A treasurer with accounting experience is required to prepare budgets, financial reports and end of the financial year paperwork, as well as attending management committee meetings.

This will be mostly a home-based role but the volunteer will need to attend five meetings at the school each year, which will be held between 3.30pm and 5.30pm during term time.

The right volunteer must have their own computer and be confident in using Excel.

> Someone to put up posters to promote the work of a charity that supports blind and partially-sighted people is needed.

A community network volunteer for the RNIB would visit shops, churches, community centres and other outlets to display the charity’s posters and leaflets. Help is needed for one day each week.
