A STUDENT is one of just 500 worldwide to win a pair of tickets to the Olympic Games.

Camilla Renny-Smith, 20, won the chance to see running champ Usain Bolt or double gold medallist swimmer Rebecca Adlington in through a competition with Lloyds TSB.

The ex-Berkhamsted School pupil was overjoyed at her invite to the London 2012 games.

Miss Renny-Smith, who is now studying geography at the University of Exeter, said: “I was so excited when I found out because I have never won anything before.

“I was so over the moon that I started running around my university halls telling people that I had just found out I was going to the Olympics.”

Competition organisers will tell Camilla which sports she will be seeing later this year.

She said: “If I could pick what I have won tickets for, then I would really like to go and see the athletics and the 100m finals or either the opening or closing ceremonies.

“But I don’t really mind. It is just great to be going to a once in a lifetime thing that is so special because it hasn’t been in England for years.”

There are 26 Olympic sports and 20 Paralympic sports at London 2012 over 31 days for London 2012.

They include archery, beach volleyball, canoe slalom, cycling, diving, football, gymnastics and judo.
