Call for sponsors

campaigners are calling on businesses to sponsor plans for a £1.3million sports facility.

Ashlyns School and Raiders Football Club want Berkhamsted companies to become sponsors of BerkoAstro- a project to build a state-of-the-art football pitch and changing block for the community.

To boost to the 700,000 the scheme has in pledges, the BerkoAstro team has put together sponsorship packages that have been sent out to the community.

The first package is for a major sponsorship deal. By giving a minimum of 1,000 businesses will get a promotional board at the facility for two years, their logo on promotional material, advertising space in the Raiders Tournament programme and links from the Berkhamsted and Tring Gazette, BerkoAstro and Raiders websites. They will also get eight VIP tickets for a celebrity football match being held on March 21 at Ashlyns School.

The second deal is for a minimum of 100 which gets your logo on The Gazette and BerkoAstro websites and a certificate of recognition to display.

To become a sponsor email berkoastro@ashlyns.herts.sch.uk

For more information about the project and the celebrity football match log on to www.berkhamstedtoday.co.uk and visit the BerkoAstro link on the homepage.
