Hemel Stags have revealed that Haven Holidays will be their main sponsor and key corporate partner for the 2013 season.

The announcement was made at the half-time break during Stags’ win over Warrington on Sunday.

Tom Williams, Stags community manager said: “To have such a big employer and well-known British brand on board is an illustration of what a great opportunity we have to build something positive in Hemel.

“From our community programmes to the development of our professional squad, Haven Holidays will be central to our successes.

“This is the first time that Hemel will have had a professional sports club and it is a testament to Haven Holidays as a supportive, locally-based business that they have decided to partner with us in this venture.

“We are looking forward to a long and happy relationship with Haven in 2013 and beyond.”

Hemel Stags’ spectator stand will be built next week and preparations are now in full flow for next year.

Haven Holidays Operations Director Sean Power said: “We are delighted to be involved with the Hemel Stags as supporting our local community is important to us.

“We are looking forward to working with the Stags in the community over the coming months.”
