Following two hugely successful events Dacorum Business Exchange is now up and running and in place and is designed to encourage the local business community to work better together, build supply chains, share information and to do business together, strengthening the overall economy of Dacorum.

The next Dacorum Business Exchange event will be taking place on the March 29 at Pendley Manor in Tring – registration from 7:45am.

Fully facilitated by the Carbon Trust, and focusing on carbon reduction, with useful tips and advice which could save your business money, this FREE event also gives local companies the opportunity to network together. To book your place contact Tara Clark, details below.

l Dacorum Business Support Partnership is a group of local organisations and commercial companies who have come together to offer free business support and advice to the Dacorum business community and can be engaged NOW. Support topics include finance, banking, legal, employment law, HR/recruitment, Iimport/export, sales and marketing, start-up and general business support. Businesses can access this valuable service through 1:1 surgeries held at the Maylands Business Centre, already arranged are the last Wednesday of every month for start-up and finance advice, the last Thursday of every month support for HR, recruitment and employment law, April 3 for import/export, sales and marketing and the Federation of Small Business on March 12 and April 12. l Dacorum Borough Council is this year sponsoring the FSB Hertfordshire Awards, with the category of Dacorum Business of the Year!

You don’t have to be part of the FSB to take part and entry is NOW OPEN, with the overall first prize being £10,000 of free advertising! The actual award event will be taking place on the June 21 at Shendish Manor.

It’s free to enter and you really don’t have anything to lose, entry is permitted to a maximum of three categories, the closing date is the May 4.
