A DOG grooming business has been set up by an 18-year-old girl with a passion for her work.
Jade Churchman from Warners End, Hemel Hempstead, opened Scoobie Doo’s Grooming Salon in Gadebridge on Friday.
With help from her dad John, and brother and grandad, she has opened the shop which sits alongside Herts Canine dog training centre in The Nokes.
Jade said: “I’m really interested in dogs so it’s perfect for me.
“I tried it for work experience in Year 10 and really enjoyed it then did an apprenticeship before getting my certificate in Liverpool.
“I’m glad to be here but I’m nervous as well as excited!”
Her sister Fleur, 16, will work with her after she finishes school this summer.
