Hundreds expected at business expo

More than 200 visitors and about 50 exhibitors are expected to attend a business expo in Apsley.

The theme of the Best Business Expo at Shendish Manor Hotel on February 12 will be “sales generation and business motivation” and as well as 50 exhibitors there will be two seminars.

Expo organiser Peter Donn said: “From previous events we know it’s a perfect opportunity to network, make new contacts, win new business and learn new skills that will ultimately increase profits.”

It’s free to attend the expo jointly sponsored by Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce which will be hosting a a pre-exhibition breakfast networking meeting.

The expo in the Apsley Suite opens at 10am and among the businesses participating will be web designers, printers and solicitors.

Free workshops will be held at 11am and 12.30pm. The first is being presented by Adrian Dixon of adneXus video communications. His company specialises in video conferencing and audio visual solutions. The second workshop is being presented by John Christopher of Enterprise Europe Network and will be on the subject Innovation Matters – Help for Hertfordshire Businesses.

The Expo concludes at 3.30pm.
