Bin collections are suspended

Rubbish collections have been cancelled today (Monday) and people are being asked not to leave their bins out.

Instead Dacorum Borough Council refuse collectors are out in force clearing footpaths in town centres, neighbourhood centres and around sheltered housing accommodation.

Workers from the council’s housing services contractor are having trouble getting about and anyone with an appointment can contact Orion Heating directly on 01442 270033.

Housing service contractor Apollo has not had to cancel any installations but some pre-work surveys have been called off.

The council-run adventure playgrounds are all open today but will close early at 5pm and all four Dacorum cemeteries are open as usual but people are advised to avoid visiting.
