editorial image

A new frozen food shop pledges to provide its customers with meals that ‘look and taste homemade’.

Cook has opened its doors in Lower Kings Road, Berkhamsted, providing everything from chicken korma to haunch of venison with crushed celeriac.

The business, which was launched in 1997, also has franchises in Harpenden and Beaconsfield and recently won 13 Great Taste awards from The Guild of Food Writers.

Matthew Bourne, who owns the franchises, said: “We’re here to offer customers a huge selection of mouth-watering dishes that a really good cook might produce at home if only they had the time.

“I’m delighted to be opening my new Cook shop in Berkhamsted.”
