A champion roller-skater who has performed for the likes of Robbie Williams and Madonna plans to teach her skills to young people.

Amanda Constantinou, of Tinkers Lane, Wigginton, played Ashley the smoking car – then a lead role – in West End hit Starlight Express from 1999 to 2003.

She also helped teach Harry Potter’s Dementors to skate in last year’s Olympic opening ceremony.

She will teach children to skate in Berkhamsted Sportspace from 4.45pm to 6.15pm on Tuesdays for £9 each with Natalie Powers, who was also in Starlight Express. Ring 07813 452737 to join their course.

Amanda said: “It’s fun and we play games like tag and British bulldog and have races and things like that. The kids just love it.”
