All-night artist’s striking snow sculpture skull

This striking show sculpture was the talk of the town in Tring today, Saturday.

It appeared overnight in front of the parish church of St Peter and St Paul Church, but there was no mystery about who had created it.

Artist Dominic Norris, 24, was so proud of his creation that he left his card at the scene.

And on his Facebook page he told fans the work, titled Memento Mori, took him seven hours to finish.

He started at 1am and didn’t finish until 8am. “Due to the powdery snow it fell apart on me three times so its form is a little rough around the edges,” he admitted.
