It’s music all the way at The Old Town Hall this November. There’s a cabaret treat in store on Friday, November 8 with Julie Madly Deeply and the songs from the musicals of legend of entertainment, Dame Julie Andrews.

This cheeky yet affectionate cabaret with the award-winning singer, West End actress and Fascinating Aida star Sarah-Louise Young features Julie’s songs from musicals, including Mary Poppins, The Sound of Music and My Fair Lady.

These are intertwined with stories and anecdotes about Andrews’ own life, from child star to losing her famous singing voice.

The Old Town’s musical month begins on Saturday with an album launch tour
by vibrant new contempor-
ary Scottish four piece Salt House.

Salt House – an Indie-traditional band with a fresh sound of grassroots folk and inventive musical twists – has two BBC Young Musician award winners in its line-up.

The end of the month sees visits from the Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers with their thundering and exhilarating rhythms and Barb Jungr – described by Rough Guide to Cult Pop as ‘arguably the finest cabaret singer in recent times’
