A date is set for Adeyfield West by-election

A date has been set for a by-election following the departure of a long-standing councillor.

Labour’s Keith White resigned from his post as Adeyfield West councillor after moving out of the area to be closer to his elderly mother.

The by-election to fill his seat will be held on Thursday, March 21.

Nominations for the position are open until midday on Friday, February 22. To request a nomination paper from democratic services at Dacroum Borough Council call 01442 228000 or email jim.doyle@dacorum.gov.uk

A full list of candidates will be published on Tuesday, February 26.

Those who are eligible to vote in the ward will receive a polling card ahead of the election day. Householders that have not received a card by Friday, February 22, should call democratic services.
