IF you’re wondering how to keep the kids amused this half-term the Natural History Museum at Tring have a series of drop in sessions running throughout the week.
On Monday and Tuesday children will be encouraged to look to the enormous Thames whale skeleton on display for inspiration and make a 3D model of a whale or dolphin to take home.
Wednesday’s Can You Handle It? gives kids the opportunity to discover the amazing specimens in the museum’s handling collection, including a huge snake skin and a tiny turtle.
On Thursday drop into Snappy Crocs and you can have a look at the massive crocodiles in Gallery 3 then make a mini snappy crocodile to take home.
In A Whale Of A Time workshop on Friday youngsters can help make an enormous whale collage by adding theirs to the display.
All sessions run from Monday, February 21 to Friday, February 25, 10.15am to 12.15pm and from 2pm to 3pm.
