Children dressed up to represent different decades from the last 50 years to mark their school’s anniversary.
Youngsters at St Albert the Great Catholic Primary School in Acorn Street, Hemel Hempstead, enjoyed the dress up day on Thursday to mark the school’s half century.
It is the last anniversary that children will celebrate in the current school building as they will be moving to brand new state of the art premises in June. Builders are currently busy at work creating the new building within the current school grounds.
Pupils also formed the number 50 on the school playground for an aerial picture to mark the milestone. This will be one of the items to be included in a time capsule that will be buried to mark the move to the new school building.
