A man who was discovered at his home days after his death died from 'chronic alcoholism', his inquest heard.
Landscape gardener Stuart Raynor, 44, died at Thistle Close, Hemel Hempstead on September 30 last year.

Mr Raynor had a history of alcohol abuse and had tried many times to escape his addiction.

Coroner Graham Danbury said he had been 'dead for some time' when a relative raised the alarm after not being able to contact him.

He gave a verdict of natural causes at an inquest on Monday, chronic alcoholism was recorded as the cause of death.

Mr Danbury added: "He had serious deterioration in the condition of the liver, which is often found in cases of alcoholism."
