Rave planners are cautioned

The duo behind a rave that would have seen up to 500 people descent on a quiet village have been cautioned.

Police swooped after receiving information about a planned party in Bedmond, arresting two 21-year-old men during raids in Watford last month.

A large number of nitrous oxide canisters were seized. The gas – normally used for pain relief – is the latest recreational drug being used by revellers.

The pair, arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit a public nuisance, answered police bail last Tuesday.

Officers decided that because the two men had fully admitted the offence and given their full co-operation that they would caution them.
