Leverstock Green Tennis Club - whose open day is on Sunday - have achieved the Clubmark award

LEVERSTOCK Green Tennis Club is opening its doors to members of the public at an open day on Sunday.

People of all ages can go along to the club – located in Grasmere Close – to try out the facilities for free, and a 40 per cent discount will be available to any new members who sign up to join the club on the day.

Free 30 minute adult introductory sessions for beginners will run from 10am until noon, and junior sessions for children aged eight and above will take place at the same time.

Leverstock Green Tennis Club social secretary Sam Lane said: “The open day is an opportunity for people to come and have a look around the club and see what is on offer across the board – including our licensed bar!

“It’s a great opportunity to get some fresh air and exercise and learn a new skill, or brush up some old ones.”
