Scottish Widows volunteering at Sunnyside Activity Centre

Staff from Scottish Widows swapped paperwork for gardening work when they helped out at Sunnyside Rural Trust’s activity centre in Berkhamsted.

The sales support staff from the financial company based on Mark Road, in Hemel Hempstead, spent the day cutting and bundling hazel which was needed for an urgent order.

Site manager Peter Finch said: ” They really helped us out as we would have struggled to fulfil our order without them.

“They were a great bunch of people who worked hard”.
