Lilian and Eric Newton : Obituary

LILIAN NEWTON of Lime Tree Manor, Hemel Hempstead, passed away on Wednesday 16th January 2013, aged 83 years, closely followed by husband ERIC, also of Lime Tree Manor, on Sunday 20th January 2013, aged 83 years. Formerly of Hemel Hempstead and then Greenleys, Milton Keynes, following a spell abroad. 65 years of marriage and now together forever. Gone but never forgotten. Parents to Peter, Karen and Clare and Grandparents to Jai, Li, Emma, Matthew, James, Spencer and Georgia. Joint funeral service to take place at West Herts Crematorium, on Monday 4th February at 2:40 pm. Family flowers if desired, or cheques to the Alzheimer’s Society or Parkinson’s UK respectively, c/o Hemel Funeral Service, 28 Stoneycroft, Warners End, Hemel Hempstead HP1 2QF

Eric Newton served with distinction in the Royal Marines, notably in the Korean conflict.
