Students take on sumo to raise money

Students dressed up, had sumo wrestling competitions and talent shows to raise £800 for a hospice.


Year 11 pupils from Ashlyns School spent their rag week at the end of the summer term fundraising for the Hospice of St Francis.Over a week they donned on costumes, sang karaoke and sold cakes among various fundraising events.

The money raised was handed over to the hospice on Friday.
