Lovebirds can make a date with a children's charity appeal this Valentine's Day.

Café Rouge in Berkhamsted High Street is launching a special menu from February 12-14 to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital's Kiss it Better appeal.

Every three-course menu sold during the period will donate £1 to the cause, which helps research causes and treatments of childhood cancer.

Marketing manager Helen Thompson said: "Valentine's only comes once a year, so we're dedicating an entire weekend to serving up our best-loved dishes and raising as much money as we can for the brilliant Kiss it Better appeal."

Emma Bibizadehm, corporate account manager at Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity, said: "Every pound raised by Café Rouge will make a real difference to the work we do, so it'll be a happy Valentine's Day for everyone."
